Ex Inooro TV host Muthoni Mukiri has advised online bullies following her on social media platforms to unfollow or block her.
Muthoni who is keen on matters mental health says bullies do not realize the anguish they cause the people they bully and those close to them.
Muthoni came under criticism months ago after she posted a photo of herself rocking a bikini.
She also had a cover up on, but that did not stop bullies from trolling her. Talking on her YouTube channel Muthoni shared,
‘I WAS TROLLED SO MUCH AND TOLD SO MANY NASTY THINGS ABOUT MY PRIVATE PARTS, MY PARENTS MY IN-LAWS AND EVEN MY BOYFRIEND.
BULLIES DO NOT REALIZE THAT SUCH NASTY COMMENTS AFFECT EVEN THE PEOPLE AROUND ME.
SOME THINGS ARE SO NASTY THAT IF SOMEONE SAID THEM FACE TO FACE I WOULD DEFINITELY SLAP THEM.’
Muthoni added that she has also been bullied before over her chest.
Some people go to extra lengths to bully her for not having kids.
‘I HAVE IN THE PAST BEEN TOLD NIENDE NIKAZAE KWANZA, MAYAI YANGU INAWAHUSU NINI?
THERE IS AN UN-FOLLOW OR BLOCK BUTTON, SO IF YOU DON’T SUBSCRIBE TO MY THINKING AND WHAT I POST PLEASE USE THOSE BUTTONS.’ SHE URGED
Muthoni who recently quit her job at Inooro has been advocating for self love and acceptance at a time where bullies are on the rise.
