Lamu Senator speaks out on private wedding to Aeedah Bambi after break up with Saumu Mbuvi

Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip who was dating former Governor Mike Sonko’s daughter, Saumu Mbuvi, is off the market after marrying Aeedah Bambi on Friday.

The Senator and Bambi took to their respective social media platforms to announce the news of their union in short but precise posts.

Why I will run for president – former comedian Walter Mongare

One fan did not believe the news that the politician is now married and asked for photos as proof.

‘UONGO, LETE PICHA ZA HARUSI.’

To which the Senator responded

TEMBEA NYUMBANI UONE BIBI HARUSI LIVE LIVE, PICHA MITANDAONI TUNAJUA MAHATTERS WANASUBIRI WAANZE KUDISS BUT TUKO RADA.

It’s not clear for how long Bambi and Anwar have been dating as he recently went through a nasty breakup with Governor Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi.

So bad was the breakup that in an interview with Massawe Japanni on Radio Jambo, Saumu accused the politician of wanting to take her life.

“I WAS GOING THROUGH EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL TORTURE. HE SAID HE BEAT ME ONCE BECAUSE I’M BI-POLAR. I HAVE ACCEPTED MY SITUATION, ITS NOT SOMETHING TO LAUGH ABOUT. HE KNEW ABOUT MY CONDITION AND KNEW I WAS TAKING MEDICATION.”

She went on to narrate that;

“HE WOULD COME HOME DRUNK AND START STRANGLE ME TELLING ME THAT HE IS GOING TO KILL ME ONE DAY. IMAGINE! FOR WHAT? THERE’S A TIME HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO KILL ME. MY DAD TOOK ANWAR AS A TRUE FRIEND BUT ANWAR BETRAYED HIM BUT I HAVE BEAUTIFUL KIDS TO FOCUS ON.”

Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke, Anwar admitted to having indeed beaten Saumu.

“YES, BUT ONLY ONCE, BEFORE I KNEW SHE IS SUFFERING FROM A MENTAL PROBLEM,” HE SAID.

“SHE HAS A MENTAL PSYCHIATRIC PROBLEM CALLED BIPOLAR. THAT’S WHY WE NEVER STAYED TOGETHER. SHE BREAKS THINGS, SHOUTS AND LOSES MEMORY FOR EVEN A WEEK. IMAGINE, AND ALL THE KENYANS AND MEDIA HOUSES DON’T KNOW. I ALWAYS HIDE THIS FROM PEOPLE.”

If the Senator put as much energy on development as he does on women, am sure Lamu would be very far.
