Jamila Twalib is back. The songstress started her music career immediately after school and managed to do collabos with the then notables Names Calif angels (Choku, Ratatat and Wakimbizi)
Her love for music is thanks to her father who lead a band ‘take five jazz band’ back in the 80s.
She then took a break to focus on Other things but recently got back to music which according to her is what she was born to do.
She has released her comeback songs ‘Nakupenda’ and ‘Chachu’.
“WHAT INSPIRED ME TO WRITE NAKUPENDA WAS ASSURANCE. MOST OF THE TIME COUPLES AREN’T SURE IF THEIR PARTNERS ARE REALLY INTO THEM OR CAN EASILY LEAVE THEM FOR SOMEONE ELSE. I’M TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO HIM THAT YOU ARE ENOUGH AND I LOVE YOU”
The Afro-pop singer reminds us, of the purpose of music, the thing that draws us to why we crave and savour the beat.
Her talent and her ever-evolving beauty are nothing short of happy, what we can all undoubtedly agree on is that we cannot wait to see what this talented songstress has in store.
