Mzanzi Magic Slammed For Making A Joke On The Teddy/Manzi Storyline. This is one storyline that has sparked conversation about women who target younger men to rape them. Gomora, which airs on Mzansi Magic channel, tells a story of a male student, Teddy, who is being sexually abused by his teacher, Miss Manzi. The roles are played by talented actors, Sicelo Buthelezi and Sihle Ndaba.
All of this, began as a crush on the new hot teacher has, but unfortunately for Teddy, it ended in actual tears. Miss Manzi, who seemed to have developed a soft spot for the slow learner, took advantage of him, and keeps on sleeping with him against his will. Many people have applauded Gomora for such an educational storyline, which will open the eyes of many, as well as save a lot of men from the pain.
As it is the norm, Mzansi Magic always shares posts about shows on their channel. However, their latest post about Gomora left many disappointed. Granted, what is happening in the show is acting, but it does happen in the real world. Mzansi Magic labelled the whole scenario as “SNACK ATTACK.”
The likes of entertainment blogger, Phil Mphela and award winning actor Loyiso MacDonald, took to Twitter to call out the channel. A number of tweeps also joined in, sharing their disappointments on Mzansi Magic for making jokes about such a serious issue.
