‘Nililala Koinange Street for 2 months’ DJ Shiti remembers as he consoles David Major

TPF David Major

DJ Shiti is a great example of grass to grace. The comedian-cum-actor has been through a lot in life especially when he moved to Nairobi for the first time. He lived in the streets of Koinange after his relatives refused to accommodate him.

In past interviews, he narrated how life challenged him and how he overcame the challenges.

‘NIKIWA TAO, WATU WALINISAIDIA NI WALE DAD ZETU HAPO KOINANGE STREET. HAPO NDIO NILIKUJA KUGUNDUA PIA HAWAFANYI ILE KAZI KWA KUPENDA, WALIKUA WANANIITA BRO. NAANGALIA HUKU NA KULE NAEKA CARTON HAPO CHINI. WAKIENDA NA WATU HUKO KWA ROOMS WANAWATOANISHA NA WANAWAIBIA LAKINI WANAKUJA WANANIAMBIA BRO, SIKU MOJA MAMBO ITAKUA POA.WE SHIKA HII 50, SHIKA HII 100 KUNYWA CHAI. NILIKUA NAKAA NAO SAA ZINGINE TUNAPIGA STORY. IKAFIKA POINT MMOJA AKANIHURUMIA, AKANIAMBIA ANATAKA NIKAKAE NA BROTHER YAKE TASIA,’ HE SAID.

Using his example to advise fallen former TPF star David Major who is reportedly homeless and battling drug addiction, he said

‘MY BROTHER DAVID IT SHALL BE WE…MIMI MWENYEWE NILIPITIA STREET, NILILALA STREET KOINANGE TWO MONTHS NAELEWA…UTASIMAMA TENA BRO! RIZIKI MWENYEZI MUNGU NDIYE ANAPEANA SIO MWANADAMU…NARUDIA TENA SIO MWANADAMU!!! HAYA YOTE NI MITIHANI YA MAISHA.’
