Yesterday the sad news of the death of former Kibwezi MP Richard Kalembe Ndile who passed away Saturday night.
His body is currently lying at the Lee Funeral home.
President Uhuru Kenyatta mourned Kalembe.
“IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT DEATH HAS TAKEN FROM US THE HON KALEMBE NDILE IN HIS PRIME. HE WAS A LIVELY POLITICIAN WHO LOVED AND WORKED WITH EVERYONE, AND ALWAYS HELD THE INTERESTS OF THE COUNTRY AT HEART.”
“WITH THE DEATH OF MHESHIMIWA KALEMBE, OUR COUNTRY HAS LOST AN ASTUTE FIGHER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS. WE ALL REMEMBER HOW PASSIONATELY HE FOUGHT FOR THE PLIGHT OF SQUATTERS IN THE COUNTRY ,” THE PRESIDENT EULOGISED THE FORMER MP.
His daughter Lucyanne Richard has penned a moving tribute.
She wrote on her social media,
“I WISH I HAD THE STRENGTH TO PEN DOWN EVERYTHING I FEEL😢. REST IN ETERNAL PEACE DADDIE♥️.”
“I’LL FOREVER BE YOUR FAVORITE LITTLE GIRL AND YOU’LL FOREVER BE MY BEST FRIEND .30.5.2021 (A NIGHTMARE COME TRUE💔) MY HEART IS SHATTERED AND I DON’T WANNA ADMIT THAT YOU’RE NO MORE. FLY EASY;YOU WERE A CONQUEROR ♥️.”
In another post she begged,
“HEY DAD. I KNOW YOU ARE STILL HERE. PLEASE DON’T LEAVE YET.”
Mpasho wishes the family of the departed politician God’s grace and comfort as they come to terms with his demise.
