A video clip of Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi attacking President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto has become the number one trending topic among Kenyans on Twitter.

In the clip recorded on Wednesday, Mr Sudi stated that the President and his deputy seemed to have been overwhelmed by their duties to the country.

He offered to take up the presidency for three months to straighten things out on their behalf, after which they would be free to resume their roles.

“Just give me three months and I’ll look for a deputy because I can see that you [President Kenyatta] and your deputy are clearly not equal to the task.

“When you see a President who cannot meet with MPs from his party, a President who cannot reason with Governors who have minds to lead counties and a President who is leading a government yet Senators are in the streets protesting then clearly he cannot do the job. Mr President I can see you’ve been defeated just give me the job and I’ll show you,” he stated.

Who takes Oscar Sudi seriously?

A majority of the social media commentators brushed off the legislator’s sentiments as dangerous and mindless.

The MP reiterated his earlier sentiments that the union between the two top Jubilee leaders had fallen apart.

He also insinuated that the arrest of Henry Rotich and managers from KVDA was a move targeting members of one community.
