Most of us know him as Likobe from the popular TV series Vitimbi and Vituko back in the 1990s. He always left viewers in stitches whenever he graced the screen. An episode wasn’t complete without Likobe.
Just like the 2000s kids discuss Maria, Ringo and Aziza nowadays, that’s how veterans used to talk about TV series of back in the day.
Likobe, whose real name is Aurelian Mwalukumbi Mliwa, also acted in Vioja Mahamkamani and as a houseboy in Zoa and Subira and he is still a household name in the country.
The father of two and grandfather who was born on June 15, 1964, in Mbololo, Taita Taveta county, has been working on projects, supporting talents back in his home county after retiring from the screen.
He acted with the likes of Mzee Ngomongo, Mama Kayai, Mogaka, Nyasuguta, Makokha, the late Mzee Ojwang just to mention but a few.
